The space formations in this construction company are organized as per hierarchy but, have an organic and generic form in their evolution. Disciplined in its function yet playful in its expression.
The entire material palette revolves around what is mostly used by the company in their projects. Wire cut bricks, natural stone, vitrified tiles, glass, aluminium, painted wall surfaces, natural wood, mild steel and wooden flooring are the materials majorly used. The attempt was to stay genuine in expression and in the use of material and their execution.
Glass is used exponentially to expand the feel of space, reflect the space around and draw visual appeal.
We call it a real time space design and not just an exercise of decoration.
The concept derived by us from the brief was a fluid collaborative working space with high standards of visual appeal. The customer experience zone is a free flowing form which was achieved by the geometry of the circle.
4-feet high civil walls raised from the circular pattern integrate the reception, waiting lounges, kids play area, circulation paths, lighting, display panels and flooring, making the main functional entities connected to each other.
Grey and terracotta red mosaic flooring define the circular pattern.
The light installation enhances spatial dynamics and creates a shadow free space.
The divisions between staff area and cabins is made of solid coloured surface till eye level and transparent glass from eye level till roof level.
The access doors to cabins are made solid on top and transparent at the bottom to allow the perception of people’s presence on either side.
The alternating four distinctive colours, make the entire space energetic. It was a fresh perspective to workspaces.
