With an array of materials ranging from glass blocks to copper profiles to back-lit onyx marble, this bar creates a soft yet captivating atmosphere. The challenge of a narrow site was addressed by playing with levels internally and creating a double height central space.
The project involved the interior design of a sales and administration office for builders of high-end, premium residential towers. The client wanted to portray a distinctive air of understated luxury as the design aesthetic to resonate with the aspirations of the target audience.
This office space ensures a constant visual connect to the surrounding landscape and the greenery in the courtyard space throughout the structure. It also allows ample light to flow into and through the interior spaces by incorporating glass partitions while maintaining privacy with the encompassing compound wall.
Located inside a shopping mall in hyderabad, punjab bistro is a fine-dining restaurant specializing in indian cuisine. The client’s brief required the restaurant’s interior space to exude a distinctively contemporary vibe.
The project highlights the dynamic role of light in a space, throughout the day. With its natural and neutral material palette, the play of light and shadow is seen extensively through the large skylights, the jali periphery walls and the large fenestrations.
This rooftop bar was designed to cater to the calm pleasant ambiance of the day while also ensuring an exciting lively ambiance for night. It enjoys expansive views of the city skyline, sprawling over hills on 2 sides. This promoted the design to open up these facades for a visual connect to the context.
This project aimed to allow a seamless flow from interior to exterior spaces. Being located on a height with clear, far-reaching views on all sides of the site, an abundance of light is filtered through the various fenestration elements which also offer uninterrupted views of the surrounding.
This project is a restaurant serving the local cuisines of the state, with the space also reflecting the local traditional elements in terms of its materiality, lighting, and decor.
For the bar’s distinct identity, a strong narrative was conceptualised. This was of ‘The Fat Pigeon’: a pigeon flying around with newspaper, carrying news from one place to another. This idea resulted in the creation of multiple spaces of varied ambiances, giving the user a sense of ‘bar hopping’ within the space.
The project is situated in the jubilee hills neighborhood of hyderabad, surrounded by residential plots on the south and east sides, with approach roads on the north and west sides. The site features a gentle slope from the south-west to the north-east, descending by 6 feet, while the southern and eastern plots are elevated by 20 feet with retaining walls.
Zero40 brewery is located in the heart of hyderabad’s software district. The design seamlessly combines the essence of an existing orchard with the vibrant social ambiance that guests would expect at a brewery. The site is a 1.2-acre rectangular plot with 10 mango trees and a neem tree. The design revolves around the client’s vision and the existing orchard, intentionally avoiding disturbing or pruning the trees.
The site for makau kitchen and bar is located in the heart of the city. The land has 60′ high office buildings on either side, while a 65′ high metro station forms the backdrop. Owing to these tall built forms around the site, the only clear approach was from the inner side of the lane.
This Asian restaurant strongly reflects traditional Chinese construction methods and Japanese modular spatial planning. The design evolved from the concept of a lively Asian eatery that combines the bustling atmosphere of an Asian street dining experience with the elegance of formal dining.
Set amidst an it zone, sound garden was designed to be a relaxed but refined cafe that primarily caters to the it crowd from the neighborhood. It was also envisioned as an acoustically treated platform for high-energy, high-volume live performances.
Inspired by the concept of a theater and a platform for performance, the broadway brewery was designed as a massive inward-looking volume. With the intention of maximizing the use of site space, the design invokes an industrial-chic aesthetic with splashes of colors.
Situated on one of the busiest main roads in the city, this salon aimed to draw the eyes of passers-by. It does this with its play on the geometry of a hexagon in terms of volume and scale throughout the space.
The project is an adaptive reuse of an existing warehouse in a primarily residential area, that is characterized by the existence of large trees and vegetation. The intention was to retain the warehouse by transforming it into a salon and to develop an extension to accommodate a retail unit.
A construction company’s office which reflects their work through the use of materials in the space. The concept of play through lighting and division of spaces was brought forward while ensuring the smooth functionality of the office.
