The restaurant being Pan-Asian, a very traditional Asian art form ‘Origami’ was chosen as the theme of the installation, bringing to attention the ancient legend of a crane granting a wish when one folds a 1000 origami cranes.
The form of the installation is evolved around the position of the furniture, lighting, and AC fixtures. The purpose of this installation is majorly aesthetic.
The undulations in the installation responds to the activity taking place on the floor below, with it dipping down over tables and rising up over circulation paths.
